A platform that revolutionizes home care

my.curacasa.ch responds to a crucial need in the Swiss healthcare sector: facilitating the connection between independent nurses and patients requiring home care. This intuitive web platform allows patients and various healthcare actors to search, compare and book services from qualified nurses according to their specific needs, location and availability. For nurses, the platform offers increased visibility, simplified management of their information and better organization of their independent activity. We developed this solution in close collaboration with Curacasa to create a tool that precisely responds to the challenges of the home care sector in Switzerland.

The validation of independent nurse status in Switzerland is strict, and its management is all the more complicated. Monitoring the various training courses of nurses as well as the attribution of their different labels and the management of invoicing is meticulous and time-consuming work. It is also difficult for patients and doctors wishing to use the services of independent nurses to find the nurse adapted to their needs.

An optimized user experience

The my.curacasa.ch platform was designed with particular attention to user experience. The intuitive interface allows users to quickly find a nurse adapted to their needs thanks to an advanced search system with filters by location, specialties and availability. The booking process is simplified to the maximum, with transparent management of nurses and automatic confirmations. For nurses, a complete dashboard allows them to manage their profile, availability and bookings in one place.

Data migration and quality

The choice was made to facilitate the application's adoption by directly migrating the old nurse data into the new environment, allowing a smooth adoption of the new platform. The management of self-assessments to be completed by nurses was also another central point of the application. Enabling an overview of self-assessments to guarantee facilitated supervision of nurses' work for administrators.

Automation and ERP integration

We technically supported Curacasa in choosing their ERP in 2022 and integrated automation processes within our new web application by connecting it directly to the ERP to centralize data and invoicing management. An invoice paid in the centralized accounting thus directly updates user access rights to the different application features without complicated intervention, profile management is also centralized in the ERP thus eliminating all sources of unnecessary redundancies.

Conclusion

Our automation of different features allowed Curacasa administration to manage its members much more efficiently. A complete interface redesign allowed us to highlight the main functionality of searching for nurses. Profiles and search filters also optimized the time spent searching for an adapted nurse. Curacasa chose to re-commission us for the expansion of this first successful iteration.
